Who is NRDC?

The National Resources Defense Council (NRDC) is an organization that was started in 1970 by a group of law students and professional lawyers who wanted to not just watch our environment be destroyed.

Since then, this grassroots organization has included the help of lawmakers, scientists, and every day people like you and me. Currently there over 300 lawyers and scientist working for the NRDC from places like New York, Washington, Illinios, California...and all the way to China.

I became a member of NRDC when I learned about what they are doing for the Polar Bears. Since then they have shown me the importance of saving animlals, like the Grey Wolf, from the endangered species list. Like many of the environmental organizations that work hard at what they do, the NRDC is also working in suppport to change Global Warming and help China "Go Green".

With the help of millions of "on-line" activists, like me, they believe that their fight to save our the animals will be a successful one.
